Job Requirements
- Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance
- Negative TB and health screening
- Ability to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols
- Availability to work on-site at Glen Park at Boynton St, Glendale
- Physical ability to perform kitchen and cleaning duties
- Willingness to support residents with dietary needs and meal service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation and sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Wash dishes and cook in accordance with health code requirements and good sanitary practices
- Clean ovens, stoves, and vents in accordance with good sanitary practices
- Clean food handling equipment in accordance with good sanitary practices
- Keep kitchen clean and sanitary
- Cook and prepare meals taking into consideration dietary likes and requirements of residents
- Assist housekeepers in the serving of food
- Assist housekeepers in keeping the dining room clean and sanitary
