The role of Dishwasher at Manthey Hospitality is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the galley, which supports high-energy culinary operations onboard vessels such as Yacht StarShip. Dishwashers play a vital role in ensuring that all dishware, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans are spotless and sanitized to the highest standards. Working within fast-paced and energetic kitchens, galley crew prepares meals for cruises that run weekdays, weekends, and special holiday events.

This position requires a proactive individual who can manage dishwashing tasks using both dish machines and manual methods, ensuring all items are properly collected, rinsed, and stored. Dishwashers maintain cleanliness and organization within the dish area and galley, uphold sanitation standards, and adhere strictly to health department regulations. They safely operate dishwashing equipment, maintain chemical levels, and assist in basic food preparation and galley cleaning when needed. In addition to their cleaning responsibilities, dishwashers help with receiving and storing supplies using FIFO procedures and support overall vessel safety by following established safety drills and procedures.

Candidates must be comfortable working aboard vessels in tight, dynamic environments and able to work extended shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and cruises that last from 2 to 5 hours, with occasional longer shifts. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
