Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize dishes including plates, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dish machines and sinks
  • Inspect dishes for cleanliness and damage before restocking
  • Report any chipped or broken items
  • Work efficiently to stay ahead of dishwashing demands during busy events
  • Set up and break down dishwashing machines at the start and end of shifts
  • Monitor and maintain proper temperatures and sanitizer levels of dish machines
  • Take out trash, compost, and recycling as needed
  • Keep sinks, floors, and counters clean and free of hazards
  • Assist the team with light prep, bussing, and other tasks when dish station is under control
