We are currently seeking part-time dishwasher and utility staff to join our team for approximately four shifts per week. These positions primarily involve daytime hours on weekdays and weekends, with occasional evening hours during special nighttime garden events. The work schedule includes normal café hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a great opportunity for individuals looking for daytime employment with flexibility. Weekend availability is a must. This role is essential in maintaining the Garden’s high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Employees are expected to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service with a smile, contributing to a positive customer experience.

The dishwasher and utility role involves essential tasks such as scraping, rinsing, loading and unloading dishes and utensils, hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans, and maintaining dishwashing machines. Candidates must follow sanitation policies strictly, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable performing physically demanding duties such as bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the ability to work standing on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a hot and humid environment is required. Safety and cleanliness are paramount, requiring regular sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and adherence to hygiene standards.

The pay rate for this part-time position is $16.00 per hour. New hires will need to complete background screenings and provide direct deposit information.
