Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role is beneficial
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to comply with company safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- basic understanding of sanitation standards
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- good communication skills
- reliability and punctuality
- willingness to work as part of a team
- prior experience in kitchen or dishwashing role is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and places it in designated containers
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies and product
- performs other duties as assigned
