Job Requirements

  • Texas State Food Handler Card is required before the first day of employment

Job Duties

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
  • load and unload dishwashing machines
  • wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, large cookware, and delicate glassware)
  • store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
  • ensure that clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are adequately stocked especially during peak hours
  • maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents)
  • check dishwashing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
  • remove garbage regularly and dispose according to store procedures
  • clean and sanitize the kitchen area, bathrooms, and restaurant lobby area as assigned
  • demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values
