Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or dishwashing preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
- willingness to adhere to company policies and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen maintenance role preferred
- knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures
- ability to operate dishwashing equipment and polish silverware
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- good physical stamina to handle standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans and trays following assigned procedures to maintain sanitation
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dips, buffing wheels or hand cloths
- ensures compliance with safety procedures and standards
- maintains chemical levels and temperatures as per guidelines
- keeps dishwashing area orderly and compliant with safety regulations
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans thoroughly
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists in loading and unloading supplies and products
- performs additional duties as assigned
