Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or dishwashing preferred
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen maintenance role preferred
  • knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures
  • ability to operate dishwashing equipment and polish silverware
  • strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • good physical stamina to handle standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
  • effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Job Duties

  • scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • washes pots, pans and trays following assigned procedures to maintain sanitation
  • polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dips, buffing wheels or hand cloths
  • ensures compliance with safety procedures and standards
  • maintains chemical levels and temperatures as per guidelines
  • keeps dishwashing area orderly and compliant with safety regulations
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety
  • washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
  • removes trash and cleans garbage cans thoroughly
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • assists in loading and unloading supplies and products
  • performs additional duties as assigned
