The Dishwasher position requires a person who is attentive to detail, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The role calls for strong manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness to handle washing and drying processes efficiently. Candidates must possess a cooperative attitude, high stress tolerance, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include the operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of dishwashing machinery, proper storage of pots, pans, and other equipment following sanitation protocols, as well as general kitchen and front-of-house cleaning duties. The Dishwasher will be expected to adhere strictly to all kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health, safety, and sanitation regulations as set by OSHA and the Riverside County Health Department.
This position demands physical stamina, requiring the use of trunk strength for repeated or continuous support, the ability to move and handle kitchen materials using multi-limb coordination, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, and walking. The role also involves interactions with prep cooks, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to maintain productive interpersonal relationships and ensure efficient kitchen workflow. Moreover, the Dishwasher must demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and persistence, contributing positively to team efforts and communication. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or dishwashing preferred
- Ability to maintain physical stamina for manual tasks

Job Duties
- Ensure clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment
- Responsible for setting up and closing down dish machine according to company standards
- Preventive maintenance of dish machine
- Ensure proper storage of pots/pans and equipment according to sanitation and company standards
- Cleans walls, floors in dish area, kitchen line and front of house
- Perform shift change and/or opening, closing duties
- Arrive to work on time, attend daily and monthly shift meetings on time
