As a Dishwasher at Valley River Inn, you will play an essential role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency that the hotel is known for. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $17.00 and includes eligibility for an extensive range of perks and benefits. The Dishwasher position involves a critical contribution to the kitchen’s performance by ensuring all china, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the kitchen and managing cleaning supplies is a key daily responsibility. You will also be tasked with proper disposal of trash, compost, and recyclable materials, in line with environmental standards. Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are necessary traits for success. The role requires availability on weekends and holidays, and a valid State Food Handler’s License is mandatory. Job Duties
- Washes china, glass, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
- maintains the cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and of the cleaning supplies
- removes trash, compost, and recycle to appropriate receptacles
- follows health and safety regulations in food handling and kitchen sanitation
- assists kitchen staff as needed
- manages inventory of cleaning supplies
- supports the kitchen team during peak hours
