Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dishwashing or a related field preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to follow company policies and health regulations
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen support role preferred
- Ability to follow company and health department sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to assist with food preparation as needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dish washing machines
- Wash specific items by hand such as pots, pans, and delicate china
- Adhere to all Colwen and brand standards
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment properly
- Ensure continuous availability of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils
- Set up work stations before meal preparation begins
- Assist in preparing various foods for cooking and serving as directed
- Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly
- Maintain sanitary work area as required by local health department
- Check operation of dish washing machines and promptly report any issues
- Remove trash regularly
- Wash and sanitize kitchen area including surfaces, equipment, trash bins, and floors
- Perform other duties as assigned
