Job Requirements

No degree or any other education earned required
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Ability to perform physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting or carrying 0 to 75 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, squat and perform repetitive hand and arm movements
Ability to safely handle kitchen cleaning equipment and chemicals
Must comply with internal policies and regulatory standards
Must be available to work day shifts

Job Qualifications

Ability to follow internal and regulatory safety procedures
Good hand hygiene practices
Commitment to customer service and patient centered care
Ability to adapt to changing work conditions

Job Duties

Complies with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste and trash
Performs warewashing duties per safety guidelines including dishmachine and three compartment pot sink
May transport carts and deliver meal trays or pick up meal trays from assigned areas
