Job Duties
- Wash all glassware, pots, pans, utensils and kitchenware either by hand or using the dishwasher
- Set up sanitation stations throughout the kitchen
- Collect and dispose of all garbage from containers into the compactor
- Replace garbage bags as appropriate
- Wash garbage containers
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors, walls, fixtures and equipment as deemed necessary
- Clean all carts, rolling racks, warmers, and refrigerators
- Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety and sanitation
- Clean all stainless-steel tables and counter tops
- Clean grill and griddle, along with disposal of any and all grease
- Clean and change out oil from fryers as deemed necessary
- Clean ovens, steamers and steam tables
- Clean and maintain drains in the kitchen
- Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas
- Replenish paper towels and soap for hand washing stations throughout the kitchen
- Assist with stock and deliveries
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed
- Keep track of both the chemical and dry good inventories
- Attend all mandatory meetings and hotel functions
- Report any and all wear and tear of furniture and/or equipment, as well as and safety concerns in your work area, to the General Manager
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
