We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Dish Machine Operator to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for the proper utilization and maintenance of the dish machine and ensuring that all dishwashing tasks are completed according to established guidelines to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. The Dish Machine Operator will handle washing glasses, dishes, pots, and pans in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times. Key responsibilities include sweeping and mopping to address spills and breakages promptly, emptying trash cans with proper sanitation procedures, and adhering strictly to safety protocols, including Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) guidelines. In addition to their core duties, the operator is expected to assist in other kitchen areas as required, including supporting banquet event plating.
This position demands a reliable individual with high work ethic and self-initiative, who enjoys working as part of a team focused on providing outstanding guest experiences. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as shifts may involve nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires physical stamina for tasks such as standing, walking, and carrying items weighing between 10 to 25 pounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow safety and operational procedures are essential. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in kitchen or dishwashing roles preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift 10 to 25 pounds
- Ability to follow safety protocols including MSDS guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently

Job Duties
- Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine
- Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack
- Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area
- Ensure that all cleaning is performed to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up spills
- Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize after each use, place new trash bags in the container after cleaning
- Follow all MSDS protocols and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties in other areas of the kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed
