We are currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our culinary team at our location in Good Sam, Arvada, Colorado. As a Dishwasher with Unidine, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and work areas to the highest standards. Your role will include scraping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, operating dishwashing machines, polishing silverware, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. You will play a crucial part in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that all kitchenware is clean and ready for use, thereby enabling a seamless flow in food preparation and service.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a fast paced kitchen
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible part time hours
  • Capable of physical work including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Must comply with safety regulations
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
  • Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
  • Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
  • Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
  • Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
  • Removes trash and places it in designated containers
  • Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Helps load and unload supplies and product
  • Performs other duties as assigned
