We are currently hiring for a part-time Dishwasher position at Valley Baptist Brownsville, located at 1040 West Jefferson Street, Brownsville, TX 78520. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall sanitation and safety of a busy healthcare kitchen while working a part-time schedule. The hours are Sunday through Tuesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Pay is fixed at $12.00 per hour, making this an accessible entry-level position with no previous experience required. The dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation by handling dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen utensils, ensuring that all items are cleaned according to prescribed standards.

In this position, the individual will be responsible for scrapping and rinsing food from dirty dishes, washing by hand or using dishwashing machinery, polishing silverware, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols. The role also includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning worktables and food prep surfaces, managing trash disposal, and assisting with loading and unloading supplies.
