TPC Harding Park is currently inviting passionate individuals to tee up their careers by joining their team through the TPC Network. The position available is for a General Utility/Dishwasher, an essential role within their Food and Beverage Department. This role primarily focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the kitchen and related areas, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient food service operations. Responsibilities include washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, properly storing cleaned items, and supporting food production needs through additional duties such as assisting cooks and setting up buffet presentations. The dishwasher must also maintain cleanliness of employee areas, dumpster zones, and equipment, thus upholding the high standards of the establishment.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area
  • Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
  • Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area
  • Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently
  • Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items
  • Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems, notifying supervisor of any malfunctions
  • Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand
  • Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed
  • Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
