Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work part-time with flexible schedule including afternoons and evenings
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Valid Food Handler's card is preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Team player with good communication skills
- Valid Food Handler's card preferred
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or dishwasher
- Washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels required for sanitation
- Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops floors to meet sanitation standards
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and products
- Performs other duties as assigned
