Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs using proper techniques
- willingness to comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to perform both opening and closing duties
- availability to assist other team members as needed
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment preferred
- ability to work prolonged periods standing and on feet
- knowledge of proper lifting techniques
- understanding of sanitary and safety standards
- basic ability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
- strong organizational skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
- clean and maintain trash bins
- deposit kitchen and dish room garbage in dumpsters
- keep floor clean, free of spills, food, trash and other obstacles
- daily clean walk-in cooler
- maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift
- ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, storage bins including lifting up to 40 lbs
- maintain Cosm safety and sanitation standards
- organize and maintain storage of all dishware
- keep up with fast paced high volume kitchen and restaurant
- comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring all eating and cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained and stored properly
- assist other employees as needed
- perform all opening and closing duties
- demonstrate ability to assemble, disassemble and descale dish machine
- sanitation and safety compliance
- demonstrate Cosmworthy attitude
- adhere to all Cosm policies and procedures
