Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms and back-of-the-house employee areas as well as elevator, dumpster and receiving area
  • Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles regularly, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
  • Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas regularly to dumpster area
  • Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance with local guidelines to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently
  • Assist in storing grocery and supply items
  • Assume responsibility for proper setup and operation of dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems and notify supervisor of malfunctions
  • Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of shortages
  • Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in food preparation as needed
  • Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations including ice displays
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
