Job Requirements

  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • knowledge of dishwasher machinery and kitchen operations
  • availability to work part-time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • adherence to company safety policies including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset
  • knowledge of dishwasher machinery and kitchen operations
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • good physical stamina to handle lifting heavy items
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines
  • washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • polishes silverware using designated equipment
  • ensures compliance with safety procedures
  • maintains appropriate temperatures and chemical levels
  • keeps dish area orderly and clean
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors
  • washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
  • removes trash and cleans garbage cans
  • transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • helps load and unload supplies
  • performs other duties as assigned
