OVG is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join their dynamic hospitality team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the high sanitation standards and operational efficiency necessary for the seamless functioning of food and beverage services within various live event venues. The Dishwasher ensures that all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares are thoroughly washed and sanitized in compliance with health and safety standards. This role demands a keen eye for detail, commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. The Dishwasher will be expected to maintain excellent attendance and be flexible to work scheduled events as required by business needs.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in dishwashing or similar maintenance role preferred
  • Ability to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and event days
  • Ability to follow sanitation guidelines and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a casual and or fine dining atmosphere is helpful
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate with employees co-workers management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Ensures highest sanitation levels for all used items so they may be used again in clean condition free of contamination risk
  • Utilizes and implements MSDS criteria food and product safety and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures
  • Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition
  • Stocks plates glasses pots utensils and pans after cleaning
  • Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
