The Dishwasher position at Oak View Group offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $17.00. This role is vital to maintaining the operational excellence of OVG's hospitality and venue services. As a Dishwasher, the individual will be responsible for washing and sanitizing all types of tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position requires reliable attendance and the flexibility to work events as scheduled, reflecting the dynamic nature of live entertainment events.

The Dishwasher's role extends beyond basic cleaning duties, as it involves adherence to strict sanitation protocols and compliance with industry standards including the use of Material Safety Data Sheets (M.S.D.S.), food safety, and food and beverage policies and procedures. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is paramount, including removing trash efficiently and keeping loading and receiving areas orderly. The role also includes the responsibility of restocking cleaned items such as plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans to support seamless operations during events.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere helpful
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner
  • Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk
  • Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures
  • Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition
  • Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning
  • Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
