The Dishwasher role at Oak View Group is a vital position that ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares used throughout the venues. This hourly role, compensated at $15.50 per hour, focuses on maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety by thoroughly washing and sanitizing items to be reused in a spotless, contamination-free condition. The Dishwasher is responsible for supporting the food service and event teams by keeping all culinary tools and surfaces clean and ready for use. Additionally, the Dishwasher plays a role in maintaining overall venue cleanliness by managing trash disposal and keeping loading and receiving areas safe and sanitary. On occasion, the Dishwasher may assist with food preparation tasks, demonstrating versatility and camaraderie within the team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working in kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and event days
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Strong attention to hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Some experience working in a kitchen atmosphere is helpful
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
  • Able to operate standard kitchen equipment, including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife

Job Duties

  • Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk
  • Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage policies and procedures
  • Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition
  • Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning
  • Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
  • May be asked to step in and help prep on certain occasions
