Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
Food handler's permit or the ability to obtain one
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Availability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Master the art of washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking equipment both by hand and using dish machine
Assist in stocking and rotating incoming food and beverage products, keeping everything organized and fresh
Help with basic food preparation tasks as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment including emptying trash, storing dishes properly, and cleaning storage areas, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems
Keep kitchen floors clean and safe by sweeping and mopping regularly
Alert the chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, ensuring everything runs smoothly
