Job Qualifications

  • Previous porter and/or dishwasher experience preferred

  • knowledge of appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment use
  • flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all employees
  • aide in cleaning inside and outside the venue
  • ensure proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and entire venue
  • follow supervisor's instructions and communicate with co-workers while being a team player
  • possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine
  • know the proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
  • have general knowledge of the venue
  • comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
  • communicate product needs to chefs and/or purchaser
  • properly set up dish station and perform opening/closing procedures
  • stock stations with prescribed supplies
  • maintain and clean kitchen equipment
  • wipe down and sanitize stations
  • perform opening and closing side-work
  • report all breakage and damage to management immediately
  • attend and participate in daily pre-service and departmental meetings
  • learn by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge while leading by example
  • portray a positive and professional attitude
  • demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its supporting hotel environments
  • work as part of a team providing help and support to fellow members
  • assist with and complete additional assigned tasks
