Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a porter and/or dishwasher preferred
- Ability to write and verbally communicate
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in noisy, crowded environments
- Willingness to work irregular shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous porter and/or dishwasher experience preferred
- Possess in-depth knowledge of dish machines and cleaning chemicals
- General knowledge of venue sanitation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Ensure all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized
- Interact with team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner
- Anticipate and accommodate the needs of employees
- Aid in cleaning inside and outside the venue
- Properly store and remove garbage and soiled linens
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish station, kitchen, and venue
- Follow supervisor's instructions and support co-workers as a team player
