Job Requirements

Ability to write and verbally communicate
Must be able to move quickly
Must be able to push and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work in environments with varying noise, crowd, and smoke levels
Flexibility to work irregular shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Maintaining a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

Previous porter and/or dishwasher experience preferred
Knowledge of dish machine operation
Understanding of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
General knowledge of hospitality venue operations
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

Ensure all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized
Interact politely and courteously with team members and supervisors
Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all employees
Aid in cleaning inside and outside the venue
Properly store and remove garbage and soiled linens
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and entire venue
Follow supervisor's instructions and support co-workers as a team player
