- ability to work full time or part time with flexible schedule between 8 am and 7 pm
- willingness to work rotating weekends
- ability to perform physical duties including standing, lifting, and handling of cleaning equipment
- must be able to maintain cleanliness and comply with safety standards
- willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- previous dishwashing or food service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or machine
- washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silver using various equipment depending on assigned procedures
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and places it in designated containers
- steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies and product
- performs other duties as assigned
