Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing experience required
- ability to work full-time hours with variable shifts
- capacity to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen cleaning
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies

- Prior dishwashing experience in a fast-paced environment
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- knowledge of safety procedures in kitchen areas
- ability to use dishwashing equipment and polish silverware
- capacity to work as part of a team
- good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes
- washes dishes by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures
- polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards
- keeps dish area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and prep surfaces
- removes trash and sanitizes garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists in loading and unloading supplies
- performs other assigned duties
