Job Requirements
- Previous high volume kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work full time schedule including some weekends
- Available to work 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm shift
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending and lifting
- Must comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Ability to work full-time schedule including some weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift and work in hot environments
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
