Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to perform physical tasks required by the job
Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation protocols
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or with dishwashing equipment ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
Polishes silverware using appropriate machines and methods ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
Ensures compliance with safety procedures
Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as required
Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors ensuring safety and sanitation
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces
Removes trash and cleans garbage containers
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Helps load and unload supplies and products
Performs other duties as assigned
