Job Requirements
- Previous dishwasher experience in a high volume setting preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- Willingness to work varying shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Must be able to work in an educational facility environment
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous dishwasher experience preferred
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a kitchen environment
- Capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in the dishwashing machine
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenware
- Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures
- Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods
- Maintains proper safety and sanitation compliance
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- Removes trash and maintains orderly dish area
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and product
- Performs additional duties as assigned
