Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work 16 hours per week primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety protocols
  • ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
  • basic computer skills for system use

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or healthcare food preparation preferred
  • ability to operate kitchen and sanitation equipment
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • basic computer literacy for information system use
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain a safe work environment and organized workflow
  • provide quality food products and accurate food trays for patients and customers
  • provide age-appropriate care and service as applicable to role
  • assure reliable, predictable outcomes with no needless waits
  • use information systems to their full capacity
  • assist in other department duties as needed
  • clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, pots and pans, and work areas
  • retrieve dirty nutrition carts from floors
  • operate department equipment properly
  • stock and restock food and supplies
  • put away weekly food deliveries
  • complete dish machine temperature log as directed
