- prior dishwashing experience preferred
- able to operate dish machine to company and manufacturer specifications
- manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items
- strong team-work orientation, coupled with the ability to work independently
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- basic English communication skills

Job Duties
- complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing
- know the weekly work schedule, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for cleanliness and appearance
- communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to learn about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets, or special events
- set up station in accordance with standard procedures
- maintain work station in a clean and orderly condition
- scrap, sort, and stack or load dishes to be washed
- wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machine - using proper water temperature and measurements of detergent and sanitizer
- wash items by hand as needed
- place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated stocking and storage areas
- break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift
- keep dish and other storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized
- assist with cleaning and maintenance throughout the kitchen
- sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas
- clean and sanitize trash cans
- clean and sanitize dumpster and refuse areas according to standards
- power wash all floor mats
- assist with sweep and scrubbing floors
- assist with spot cleaning of furniture, floors, carpets, walls, countertops, and other surfaces throughout the building
- assist with storing food, equipment, small wares, supplies, and other stock items throughout the restaurant
- clean and perform routine maintenance to the exterior of the building according to the housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance schedule
- demonstrate teamwork
- attend team meetings
- communicate information regarding requests, complaints, or ideas for improvement to Managers
- follow company policies and procedures, as well as sanitation and safety regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
