Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment beneficial
valid state/local food handler’s card where applicable
ability to stand for long periods
capability to lift at least 20 pounds
strong attention to detail and time management skills
ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

ability to communicate and work well with a team
knowledge of basic kitchen operations and sanitation practices
positive attitude with a strong work ethic
ability to lift 20 lbs or more and stand for extended periods
must hold a valid state/local food handler’s card where applicable

Job Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
maintain a steady pace to prevent dishwashing backups
return and restock clean items to their designated areas
monitor and maintain dishwashing equipment, reporting any issues to management
keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in garbage areas
follow all safety and sanitation protocols
assist with general kitchen cleaning, including restrooms as needed
work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment
perform other duties as assigned
