Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays during racing meets
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Good physical stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing area and kitchen floors
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and products
- Performs other duties as assigned
