This job opportunity is for a full-time Dishwasher position located within the Cedarburg School District in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This role offers a competitive starting pay of $14.50 per hour and features an excellent schedule for work-life balance. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, with flexibility to work four days a week if preferred. As a Dishwasher on the Aramark team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, silverware, glassware, and kitchen utensils to ensure guest satisfaction. The role includes managing the dishwashing station and related areas, ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and functioning properly. Reporting any mechanical issues to management is part of maintaining an efficient kitchen operation. Additional responsibilities involve light custodial and maintenance tasks to keep the work environment safe and organized. Employees are expected to adhere strictly to Aramark's safety policies and procedures, particularly around food safety and sanitation standards, as well as proper handling of hazardous chemicals. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
- must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
- must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
- ensures equipment is clean and in working condition
- reports any issues to management
- performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- ensures security of company assets
