Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age
  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Capable of standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Some previous kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Must be 16 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion as they enter the dish room
  • Soak and scrub dishes that require heavy cleaning
  • During prime service hours, remain focused on designated tasks
  • Help prepping and getting ready when station is ready
  • Keep workstation clean and organized
  • Practice safe knife handling
  • Scrape, sort and load dishwasher
  • Return all cleaned dishes and glassware to proper location
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance of dishwashing equipment and communicate issues
  • Trash removal as needed
  • Assist with food preparation as directed
  • Look for ways to be productive when time allows
  • Open and close the kitchen properly
  • Follow opening and closing checklists for kitchen stations
  • Arrive promptly and in full uniform
  • Follow all policies in the employee handbook
  • Other duties as assigned
