Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds
- comfortable with prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the shift
- frequent bending, reaching, and twisting involved
- requires good hand-eye coordination
- clear verbal communication skills necessary for interaction with team members and guests
- ability to work in varying temperature conditions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
- ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
- strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
- willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions
- basic kitchen knowledge and experience
- proficient in operating dishwashing equipment
- food preparation skills including chopping and slicing
- knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment for optimal cleanliness and efficiency
- wash a variety of kitchen items including dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, utilizing dishwashers or washing by hand
- assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients to support cooking staff
- keep the kitchen and dishwashing areas clean and organized for streamlined operation
- adhere to sanitation and safety procedures consistently
- support kitchen staff by assisting with food storage and inventory management
- help waitstaff and servers by restocking supplies, clearing tables, and delivering items as needed
