The Dishwasher position at XRG plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen and food service areas. Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to perform proper lifting techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license
- 18 years of age or older
- Possession of or ability to possess all state required work cards
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques
- Strong guest relations skills
- Understanding of sanitation and safety procedures
- Experience with full service kitchen operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in English, both verbally and in writing
Job Duties
- Maintain highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout assigned area
- Set-up, operate and clean all kitchen machinery and equipment properly and safely
- Clean and sanitize food service, preparation ware, dish room, pot room, and kitchen areas
- Scrape and spray all ware before placing in ware-washing machine
- Rack all china and glassware according to dish room standards
- Ensure all ware is clean and sanitary before removing from dish room areas
- Take out trash as needed
- Sweep debris from floor and maintain floor dry and free of spills
- Practice proper food handling procedures
- Separate and store all ware properly in designated areas
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Pay attention to grease, grime, proper storage, stacking heights, chemical usage, and storage
- Assist with loading and unloading miscellaneous equipment such as boxes and food products
- Maintain a neat and orderly workstation
- Move furniture as directed by management
- Comply with safety, health department procedures, and liquor laws
- Ensure company safety and sanitation standards are maintained
- Complete proper check out procedures
- Clean spills immediately and dispose of trash properly
- Report complaints, comments, or incidents to management
- Complete nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties
- Report equipment failures and safety hazards immediately
- Assist or complete additional tasks as assigned
