Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
- no previous experience required but prior dishwashing or hospitality experience desirable
- reliable and punctual attendance
- physical ability to perform exertion including walking, climbing, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for full shifts
- ability to follow safety procedures and use safety equipment
- willingness to work flexible hours including additional hours as needed
- ability to wear and maintain uniform and gaming license if applicable
- ability to communicate effectively and alert supervisors of concerns
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience performing under specific deadlines or pressure
- demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
- graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing knowledge or hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment experience desirable
- ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for entire shifts
- understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- performs duties in compliance with safety procedures including use of safety equipment
- identifies unsafe practices or conditions and informs supervisor or Safety Committee
- ensures regular and reliable attendance
- wears and maintains all uniforms properly including nametag and gaming license if applicable
- washes and sanitizes dirty dishes, utensils, and other items
- empties trash, sweeps and mops floors, wipes down workstations
- cleans tables and restaurant areas as requested
- develops and maintains positive relations with guests and employees
- alerts supervisor of concerns regarding food and beverage quality
- follows established security protocols
- maintains alertness and general awareness of restaurant operations
- receives training and guidance from supervisor
- performs duties in compliance with safety and health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies
- performs other duties and special projects as needed
