With over 630 locations across 32 states, First Watch has established itself as a leader in the casual dining industry. The company's culinary philosophy, "Follow the Sun," guides its chef-driven menu which rotates multiple times a year, offering customers elevated variations of classic breakfast favorites and innovative dishes such as the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Quinoa Power Bowl, and the signature Million Dollar Bacon. The brand prides itself not only on its food quality but also on its commitment to community impact, having raised approximately $2 million through its kid’s meal donations to various charitable organizations.

First Watch's dedication to both guests and employees is reflected in its award-winning workplace culture. Voted #1 Best Breakfast by Newsweek's Readers' Choice Awards 2025 and named the #1 Most Loved Workplace in America by the Best Practice Institute in 2024 and 2025, First Watch continually fosters a positive and supportive environment. The company champions its "YOU FIRST" philosophy, which centers on caring for employees as the top priority. This philosophy ensures employees work no night shifts, have full empowerment to make decisions that enhance the guest experience, and thrive in a workplace where their well-being matters. This welcoming atmosphere contributes to First Watch's reputation as a highly desirable employer in the hospitality sector.

This Back-of-the-House Cook position is ideal for those passionate about quality food and teamwork. New hires will receive comprehensive training tailored to their skills and interests, whether that involves mastering specific cooking stations or developing new culinary talents. The role requires individuals who communicate well, adhere strictly to health and safety standards, and deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Cooks follow meticulously crafted, chef-curated recipes made from fresh ingredients to ensure every plate meets the brand's high standards. Additionally, maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace is crucial to uphold the company’s commitment to quality and safety.

Working at First Watch offers more than just a cooking job; it offers a career with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; behavioral telemedicine access; flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care; a 401(k) retirement savings program; and generous employee meal discounts. Employees also have access to an employee assistance program, supplemental insurance options, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and wellness perks such as access to premium meditation apps and family care benefits.

This role requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and ready to contribute to a dynamic kitchen team that values exceptional food quality and excellent customer service.
