Job Requirements
- ability to wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment, and bus tubs
- capability to wash all equipment, mats, and walls
- organizational skills to keep work area clean
- commitment to preventing breakage and loss
- willingness to bag and haul trash
- observational skills to maintain dish machine and supplies adequately
- ability to ensure outside diner cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- experience as a dish washer in a fast-paced work environment
- working knowledge of loading, running, and unloading dish machine
- ability to follow sanitation procedures
- basic organizational skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- physical stamina to stand for long periods
Job Duties
- wash and clean all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
- keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
- wash equipment, mats, and walls in dish work area and office
- monitor dish machine water temperature and detergent levels
- handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster
- maintain cleanliness of the outside of the diner
