The role of Dishwasher/Steward is a crucial position within our kitchen team. This position involves assisting with food preparation, cleaning kitchen supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. As the first line of support behind the scenes, the dishwasher/steward contributes directly to the efficiency and smooth operation of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding practical skills and a strong focus on guest satisfaction, understanding that efficiency and quality must work hand-in-hand to retain our valued customers.

The Dishwasher/Steward reports directly to the Sous Chef and plays a vital role in cleaning kitchen supplies such as plates, silverware, serving dishes, pots, pans, and other utensils. Additionally, they are responsible for controlling trash bins and disposal, cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, and assisting with various food preparation tasks as needed. This role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and the careful management of hazardous materials. Cleanliness and organization are priorities to comply with Health Department standards and to maintain a safe working environment.

This is a hands-on position suitable for candidates who take pride in their work and demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Experience in scratch cooking will be considered an asset, as it enhances the candidate's understanding of kitchen operations and food quality. This is an hourly position with a pay rate of $18 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to grow within the hospitality industry and contribute to a high-performing kitchen team. Job Duties
