We focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment where every individual feels valued and cared for with the highest standards of service. Rooted in a mission that highlights genuine hospitality and five-star quality care, our community is known for its compassionate approach and dedication to the comfort and happiness of seniors. We strive to blend professionalism with heartfelt service, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention in a clean, safe, and supportive environment. Our team is driven by these core values, fostering a workplace culture that promotes respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement, making our facility a leading choice for senior care within the region.

The Dishwasher role is a vital part of the culinary team, reporting directly to the Director of Culinary. This position is hourly and open for full-time or part-time candidates, providing flexible scheduling options to accommodate diverse needs. The main responsibility of the Dishwasher is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchenware, including china, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils, using both machine and manual cleaning methods. The individual in this role ensures that the dishwashing area stays clean, safe, and sanitary at all times, which is crucial in upholding the community's infection control standards and food safety regulations.

This position requires a proactive, dependable professional who is prompt and reliable in their attendance, with a strong ability to work independently while also supporting a team-oriented environment. Duties include operating dishwashing machines, sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, and effectively managing dishwater changes to maintain hygiene standards. The Dishwasher also assists with clearing and resetting tables or counters, helping residents in the dining area when necessary, and providing courteous service consistent with the community’s hospitality goals.

Additionally, the Dishwasher may help cooks with food preparation and plating as needed, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations. Maintaining logs for sanitizer and dish machine temperatures is also a critical part of this role to comply with health and safety regulations. Physical demands are significant, including lifting and carrying heavy items, frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and standing for long periods; therefore, candidates should be physically capable and willing to meet these requirements.

Working within a senior living community, the Dishwasher is expected to exhibit compassion and a positive attitude toward working with the elderly population, enhancing the overall dining experience for residents. The position also entails ongoing training through the community’s Learning Management System to keep skills and certifications current, including maintaining CPR and First Aid certification as required by state regulations. A criminal background and fingerprint check are mandatory, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking meaningful work in a caring environment, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of our senior residents, while developing skills in hospitality and food service in a structured yet supportive setting.
