The role of Utility Worker (Dishwasher) at Blakehurst is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, including the ability to work every other weekend. Compensation for this role ranges from $15.75 to $17.75 per hour. This position is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the kitchen to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents. The Utility Worker takes on tasks that involve dish and pot washing, general cleaning, mopping floors, and storing both food and non-food supplies. Under the guidance of supervisory personnel, the Utility Worker is entrusted with upholding stringent hygiene and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.

Job Duties
- Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies
- Sets up the dish and pot washing area
- Prepares for dishwashing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils
- Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
- Empties trash containers as required
- Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
