We are currently seeking highly motivated and reliable team members to join our kitchen staff. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and who take pride in supporting kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. As a member of our kitchen team, your primary responsibilities will include essential supportive tasks such as washing dishes and kitchen appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment. You will play a vital role in upholding the standards of cleanliness and sanitation that are critical to our restaurant's success and reputation.

This position requires operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. You will assist in organizing and stocking clean dishes, glassware, cookware, and storage containers to facilitate smooth kitchen operations. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and sanitary procedures are key components of this job, including proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste and using chemical dilutions as mandated by management. Our kitchen lead will assign additional duties as needed, providing an opportunity for you to expand your skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain dish washing equipment ensuring all dishes utensils and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • Assist with the organization and stocking of clean dishes glassware cookware utensils and storage containers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including the dish washing station and surrounding areas
  • Maintain clean dry floors throughout the shift
  • Change water of machines and sinks as mandated or more often as required by business levels and properly use chemical dilutions set by management
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures including the proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste throughout their shift
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by Kitchen Lead
