Job Duties

  • Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment
  • Clean floors, equipment, and other assigned areas
  • Provide high level of customer service and promote restaurant style dining atmosphere
  • Work closely with Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to keep residents satisfied
  • Maintain dish machine and ensure sanitizing temperatures and chemical levels
  • Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs and special events
  • Attend pre-meal stand up meetings
  • Assist cooks and wait staff
  • Follow cleaning schedules
  • Transport and store food and supplies
  • Adhere to food safety and quality enhancement standards
