The position being offered is responsible for maintaining a spotless and orderly kitchen and dining area, crucial for supporting the overall dining experience. This role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. It is vital that all cleaning tasks adhere to strict policies and procedures to guarantee a hygienic and safe environment. The role requires thorough maintenance of floors, equipment, and dishwashing machinery to uphold sanitizing temperatures and appropriate sanitizing chemical levels.

Moreover, this position plays a supportive role in assisting cooks and wait staff, helping transport and store food and supplies, and participating in the execution of special dining events, banquets, and theme meals. An integral part of the role is working closely with senior culinary management, such as the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director, to ensure the satisfaction of residents and guests through well-managed food and dining programs. The employee will also be expected to attend pre-meal meetings to ensure alignment and readiness for upcoming meal services.

Job Duties
