The Dishwasher/Utility role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across all restaurant areas, ensuring dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are properly cleaned using commercial dishwashers and other equipment. This position requires working collaboratively with kitchen staff to support food preparation tasks, such as assisting with making Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Teamwork and attention to detail are critical as this role contributes directly to the overall guest experience by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Employees must follow all company policies related to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests.
Physically, this role demands the ability to stand for extended periods during 8- to 12-hour shifts and requires employees to be able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory, and applicants must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country where they are applying. - cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
