Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in dishwashing or similar back-of-house roles preferred
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 40 lbs regularly
Ability to work in a hot, humid, or fast-paced kitchen environment
Manual dexterity and ability to handle wet, slippery, or soapy conditions safely
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant needs
A valid food handler's card, where required by local or state regulations

Job Duties

Ensure all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment are washed, sanitized, and stored quickly and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, including sinks, dish machines, and surrounding workspaces
Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and equipment breakdown or setup as needed
Support other areas of the restaurant, including prep, line support, restocking, and table bussing, as business needs require
Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures
Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or leadership team
Take out trash regularly, ensuring proper disposal and cleanliness of waste areas
Hours and scheduling will vary based on business levels and operational needs
